Treasure Hunting Thursday - Centerpiece Bowls

I actually don't even really know what this is exactly... which is why I'm calling it, randomly, a centerpiece bowl "thing".  Uhhh... yea, you know what that is right!?  It's this:

I don't know what it is, but I think it's lovely.  I kinda ran to it in the antique store & was like I must have this!!!  Until I saw the price was over $100 & had to walk away sadly.  It looks like a giant bread pan maybe?  Do you know?  Anyway, it's super awesome don't you think?  I would have used it as a centerpiece on my dinning or coffee table.  It was dressed up with pumpkins at the shop as such, but here are some pretty tables that do something similar to what I had in mind.
