Have You Heard of Yarn Bombing?

My home computer is still dead, and my new Dell laptop hasn't made it's arrival yet, so I'm still kinda computer-less :(  It's really cramping my style.  I was supposed to be showing you all of my awesome new eyeglasses today, but without a home computer, it's not possible for me to download & edit the photos I took of them, so it'll have to wait.  Maybe tomorrow or Wednesday?  See, my style is officially cramped.  I gotta quick-write this blog during my lunch hour at work...

So today, I shall talk about something I just discovered today!  On the front page of today's University of Michigan web page is a link to a story about some students yarn bombing the steps to one of the buildings on the Diag for a class project.  I had to click over to see what this yarn bombing was all about.  It looks like fun!  See the students' work-

So now that I'm seeing pretty colorful yarn-y-ness, I had to check out the google & the pinterest to see if I could find more about this yarn bombing thing!  Am I just behind the times on this one?  I found tons of pictures of lots of different things being yarn bombed!

Are you kidding?!  I totally want to do this, but I don't have the skills.  Maybe something smaller scale?

Here's to hoping my computer gets delivered sooooon!
