The breakdown of the glasses. I got 3 of the from Zenni
First I'll show you the 3 pair I got from Zenni
First is my purple pair. These ones are really light & I love that they aren't tight on my head & I can just forget I have them on.
Then there is the silver half-rimmed frames. These make me look smart. They are great for when I need glasses but don't want major frames or want my glasses to be subtle & not make a big statement.
I couldn't get a good picture of these for some reason. I think I was kinda in a hurry at the time. Anyway, these are my free red glasses I got from Zenni
Next up we have the glasses I got for free (I paid shipping) from Coastal. They were running a promotion for your first pair free, I believe they are still running the promotion if you enter the coupon code FIRSTPAIRFREE at checkout. I got a really fun pair of brown glasses. I figured I needed a pair of brown ones to go with my brown work pants. Gotta have a black pair & a brown pair right? I love these ones, I think they are fun & different. These were originally around $80.
And lastly, my black glasses that I got from the eye center for "free" with my vision insurance. These are by Davis Vision. I think they would be originally somewhere around $100. These are my "good" glasses. These are the ones I fall back on if I don't feel like deciding which ones to wear. They fit my face really well & they are cute & make a statement without being too over-the-top.
I still want some more. What style of glasses do you think I still need in my collection? Do you think my new obsession is kind of weird? When I can get them so inexpensively, I've started to think of them like any other accessory. Like earrings or necklaces or headbands. They are a part of my look :) I'm having fun looking at different varieties & trying out different styles. I do still really want that pair from Coastal that I talked about last week. The tortoise shell pair. Oh they are so pretty. Longing and dreaming....
