So when I received a box of products in the mail, it was a big surprise to me! They call these VoxBox's and they send them to Influensters based on their preferences, as identified by badges that they get or sign up for. I know, it's kinda confusing, which is why I didn't really know what I was getting into when I signed up, but now I'm so glad I did! I got to test out some great products for free!
That's the contents of my box right after I opened it... minus the oranges in the back, those were just on my counter & I didn't feel like moving them. Anyway, I loved some of these products, and there were a couple I wasn't really a fan of (I can never get those stick-on nail polish things to work for me & the Soyjoy bars just aren't really for me either). But today I want to talk about my favorite thing from my box... the Moonlight Path Fragrance Mist by Bath & Body Works.
Ohhhh pretty bottle! Ok, so I haven't really wore what I used to call "body splashes" since about high school. Around college, I switched to fancy perfumes bought in department stores in tiny bottles, because, you know, I thought it was more grown up & the scents didn't seem so... I don't know... girly & oftentimes fruity. I know I like flowery scents, & when I received this fragrance mist, I discovered that this girly flowery scent is really great! It doesn't smell like I would expect a teenager to smell like. You know what I'm talking about right?
Anyway, another reason I switched from body splashes was that in my experience, body splashes didn't last very long. As in, once I put it on in the morning, the scent would be gone within a couple of hours. But now, with this new fragrance mist, I've worn it multiple days to the office & it seriously lasts all day! I was happily surprised! I spray the mist in front of me & walk into it with my chest when I'm getting dressed in the morning. Two sprays does it, and I can smell it still when I leave the office in the evening. And it's not that it's overpowering or I put too much on, it's actually a pretty light scent, it just really lasts! I feel like it's not often you can say that, so it's pretty exciting to me.
I think I'm officially converted. This Moonlight Path fragrance mist smells amazing & I assume it's a new formula, which makes it more perfume-like in terms of scent & lasting power, and less like a body splash of the old times. Considering these large 8 oz bottles cost only $14, it's so much less expensive than department store perfumes & a great buy. I can't wait to get into a Bath & Body Works store & check out their other new fragrances, of which there are 20! With so many options, there's got to be one that you would really love too!
