I've been seeing this neon trend around lately, and it makes me think of the 1980s. Oh when I was a kid... we all wore neon clothes right? Neon socks (that often didn't match), neon leggings... side ponies held with neon scrunchies. Yep, that happened. I also wore a lot of neon elastic headbands & had some neon shoes and neon folders for school... oh and trapper keepers! Remember those? Sigh, oh to be a kid again.
So now there is a ton of neon stuff out all of a sudden. Or at least it seems like it came all of a sudden to me, but I could just be horribly out of the loop. I've been checking it out & honestly, there are some pretty cool neon things out there. It can be done really really well so that it does not look all that 80s flashback-y & much more modern colorful-y. Here are some lovely cases in point:
