I don't know what it's like where you live, but right now in Michigan it is COLD! Like scrapping frost off the car windows in the morning cold. What happened to fall? I feel like we just skipped over it & went straight into winter!
Do you have free heat in your rental? We don't. If you do, I am jealous. That's a HUGE benefit to you if you do. Heat is so expensive & I think I've said on my blog somewhere before that I am really bad at turning up the heat. I know in most relationships it's the guy trying to turn down the heat all the time, but in my house it's me. I just see dollars flying out the window every time I hear that heater kick on.
So we haven't really turned it on yet this year. Well, I'm not sure if hubby has without me knowing... but as far as I know it hasn't gone on. According to our thermostat though, we haven't gotten below 60 degrees, so we're still good in my opinion.
We tend to snuggle down on the couch with blankets in the winter. We have a bunch of them. Fuzzy ones, crocheted afghans, fleece ones, and quilts made by hubby's mom. I pile them on top of me sometimes! So, since it's getting cold out, ours have come out of hiding... but I'm having a great time finding new pretty ones on Etsy! Check out some of my beautiful finds!
